Gresham Computing plc, a leading provider of transaction control solutions, announced today that Bluefin has selected Clareti Transaction Control (CTC) to increase the level of automation in the matching and reconciliation of Bluefin transactions with counter-party insurers.

CTC is expected to be used by Bluefin to automate and improve key stages of the current reconciliation process.

"Insurance brokers and insurers in the retail and commercial market have to ensure that the same transactions, recorded in different systems by multiple parties, are agreed before settlement can take place," explained Chris Errington, CEO Gresham Computing. "CTC allows these organisations to automate the processes around the comparison of transactions from different data sources and increase Straight-Through Reconciliation (STR) rates, allowing staff to focus on resolving any exceptions that arise. Ultimately it will allow payments to be made faster, discrepancies to be identified and resolved quicker, and thereby ensure that the best possible service is delivered to clients. Gresham is delighted to be working with Bluefin."
