Citi launches TreasuryVision Liquidity Manager

Citi has launched TreasuryVision Liquidity Manager, a tool designed to make it easier for clients to manage their global liquidity through web-based customizable views of their pooling structures and cash balances within the pools.

Via a dashboard, Citi's TreasuryVision Liquidity Manager provides the bank's clients with summary, detailed, and graphical views of their balances across multi- and single-currency notional pooling as well as of global cash concentration structures. Additionally, alerting capabilities keep users updated on exposures, while details of a liquidity structure can be examined in a tree diagram or back-dropped against a global map.

"While many of Citi's clients have Treasury Management Systems, a substantial proportion seeks more timely and interactive data than is available within traditional systems," said Elyse Weiner, Global Head of Citi Liquidity Management Services. "TreasuryVision already provides direct support for cash flow forecasting and cash positioning. Now, with this introduction of TreasuryVision Liquidity Manager, clients can access additional support tools for analysis and decision-making that complement our leading global pooling capabilities."

Citi has long been a leader in liquidity management, providing clients with the ability to centralize more of their cash across countries and currencies within Citi's fully owned and operated network. The Euromoney 2013 Liquidity Management Survey, published September 2013, demonstrates how Citi continues to lead the market, with cross-border pooling now available for 43 countries across the Citi network.

Citi has also seen tremendous growth in liquidity solutions across many facets, including:

  • By currency: offshore RMB in notional pools
  • By global pooling center: addition of new notional pooling hub in Amsterdam
  • By number of client multi-currency notional pooling structures: more than doubled over the last three years

"With improvement of internal liquidity and funding an ever-growing focus for enterprises in EMEA, as elsewhere, Citi is pleased to continue delivering enhancements that help clients better harness their cash", said Amit Agarwal, Head of Citi Liquidity Management Services, EMEA. "With TreasuryVision Liquidity Manager, clients will be able to truly visualize their global cash pooling."

TreasuryVision Liquidity Manager is available within CitiDirect BE. This latest extension in Citi's Global Network for Liquidity Management furthers Citi's continued leadership, demonstrating why more and more corporations rely on Citi for their global liquidity management.
