MarketPrizm, a leading provider of market data and trading infrastructure services today announced the appointment of Steven West as Client Director, reinforcing the company's commercial presence in ultra low latency infrastructure enablement and in the financial industry market.
West has over 16 years' experience in the Financial Services industry. He joins MarketPrizm from Interxion where he co-directed Interxion's sales and account management efforts in Capital Markets, providing a range of tailored infrastructure solutions designed to deliver competitive advantage to traders, brokers, software and service providers. He has extensive practical experience gained on both the market-making and infrastructure design and procurement sides.
Prior to working at Interxion, Steven was responsible for maintenance, development, marketing and sales of Exchange products and services with NYSE Euronext. He brokered OTC Equity Derivatives with Fimat International (now merged with Calyon Financial) and was a Financial Options Floor Broker with Gerrard & National Inter-Commodities (G.N.I.). Steven holds a Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from South East London Technical College and is a registered representative of the Securities and Futures Authority (SFA).
