Interactive Advisory Software (IAS), a provider of a consolidated wealth management platform for Independent Financial Advisors and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), has hired John Philpott as its CEO.

As CEO, Philpott leverages 16 years in the financial technology industry to lead the overall strategic direction of the company and oversee growth initiatives. Prior to joining IAS, Philpott served as senior vice president and general manager of Norcross, Ga.-based S1 Corporation (SONE), a provider of payments and financial services software. He also helped found Stillpoint Advisors, a wealth management and family office firm that grew to more than $950 million in assets under management. In addition, Philpott helped grow Security First Network Bank, the world's first Internet bank, from a start-up to a successful organization generating $220 million in annual revenue.

"John brings impressive financial technology experience to Interactive Advisory Software," said Dave Grace, founder and managing director of IAS. "His first-hand knowledge of wealth management firms will be invaluable to IAS as we seek to provide financial advisors with the solutions to address their day-to-day operating needs, as well as build the long-term future of their firm."

"IAS provides a much-needed fully integrated wealth management platform to the marketplace, and I look forward to helping the company expand. We will work continuously to help our customers build firm value, provide concierge client service and improve operational efficiency," said Philpott.
