Orc Software (SSE: ORC), the leading global provider of technology for advanced trading and connectivity, today announced that Banca Profilo has selected Orc Trading for its market making activities on the Italian equities market (MTA) and the Italian equity derivatives market (IDeM).
Founded in 1988 and listed at the Italian Stock Exchange, Banca Profilo is a privately held investment bank based in Milan, with offices throughout Italy and in Geneva. The order was booked in Q4 2009 and the contract is based on Orc's licensing subscription model.
