Wincor Nixdorf and Nadra Bank, one of the leading retail banks in Ukraine, are continuing their successful eight-year technology partnership.

Igor Gilenko, president of Nadra Bank, and Eckard Heidloff, CEO of Wincor Nixdorf AG, made a joint declaration today during a press conference that Nadra Bank will expand its self-service network even further during the coming two years with hardware and software from Wincor Nixdorf. As early as July of this year, the bank will begin the installation of multifunction ATMs and transaction terminals. All the systems will run application software from Wincor Nixdorf, and in the future the bank will monitor its complete self-service network using remote monitoring software that is also from Wincor Nixdorf. This will enable Nadra Bank to offer its customers an expanded portfolio of services. In addition, the use of the most modern technology will optimize the system availability and operating costs of the bank's self-service network.

Nadra Bank, which is growing very rapidly, was founded in 1993. It has approximately 700 branches and 1000 ATMs, more than 90% of which are from Wincor Nixdorf. It is the bank's goal as part of its "Self-Service-Zone 24*7" program to offer its customers a portfolio of services that is as extensive as possible and is available around the clock. Thus the bank is installing not just cash dispensing ATMs, but also cash deposit systems, and more than 200 transaction terminals at which customers can complete funds transfers or pay bills at any hour of the day.

In order to increase the availability of the entire self-service network even more, the remote monitoring software ProView from Wincor Nixdorf has now been ordered for the bank's entire installed base of systems. To date ProView, which can be used for monitoring, administration, and complete IT service management of self-service systems, has been been used with just one part of Nadra Bank's network as a pilot project, but it passed this test with flying colors.
