Fiserv CBS establishes Mexican subsidiary

Fiserv CBS Worldwide, a business unit of Fiserv Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV), today announced the creation of its new Mexican subsidiary, Fiserv México S.A., and the opening of a new office in Mexico to serve its growing client base in the region.

Fiserv México S.A. will support Fiserv's Mexican client base and aggressive growth in the core banking and consumer finance market in the region. To support top players in the Mexican retail banking and credit union industry already using Fiserv solutions, the new office will house sales, implementation and support personnel. It will be located in Colonia Lomas de Santa Fe in México D.F.

"The opening of this new office is not only a measure of our continued commitment to the region, but it also reinforces Fiserv's ability to deliver superior sales and implementation services in Mexico," said Dan Alf, managing director of Latin America, Canada and the Caribbean for Fiserv CBS Worldwide. "We have already made significant investments in a Mexican Regulatory Library and country-specific core processing functionality, which is being rolled out to our Mexican clients. We will continue to aggressively market our proven front-to-back solution suite, including core banking, credit card, customer interaction, business intelligence, anti-money laundering and treasury to the Mexican financial market."

Fiserv México S.A. is a subsidiary of Fiserv CBS Worldwide, which is headquartered in Lake Mary, Fla., in the United States. In addition to subsidiaries in Bogotá, Colombia and San José, Costa Rica, Fiserv México S.A is the third location Fiserv has opened in the region.
