Built by BKM's innovation incubator, the app lets Glass wearers speak to access the firm's Express digital wallet, where cards from 16 local banks can be stored.

Participating merchants use a dedicated application to generate a QR code containing sales information, which the customer scans with their Google Glass to complete the transaction.

Soner Canko, GM, BKM, says: "With BKMLab we aim to implement many projects that will accelerate the growth of the payment systems sector in Turkey leveraging advanced technologies to offer richer and more convenient payment experiences to customers."

Very innovative. But how many merchants accept, or can-have the ability to accept, this as a form of payment?
