According to the Independent Media Centre of Australia, hacktavist collective decocidio took down the ECX Web site on Friday, replacing it with a message attacking the concept of carbon trading as a scam.

The page also provided links to activist groups Earth First, Climate Justice Action and the Hack Block and included an embedded video called The Story of Cap and Trade.

The ECX site was fixed over the weekend and is now back up and running.
