The company will exhibit at ATMIA 2015, the ATM industry's premier event, in Las Vegas in February, and will showcase several products that are already highly successful in the UK.

As ATM models and crime profiles are essentially the same globally the company is poised to achieve similar success in the North American market, through building its customer base and support/service partners; this is a key aim of exhibiting at the show.

ATM Cassette Guard restricts access to the ATM's cash cassettes during cash replenishment; programmable access codes and a full audit trail ensure complete access traceability, so the opportunity for fraud is extremely low. Integrated security features defend against physical attacks including thermal, cutting and explosives.

With over 40 years' experience, backed by a number of patents and industry firsts, Scotia Security Group has earned an enviable reputation for advanced banking security products; its customer list includes most major UK banks, many multi – national banks operating in the UK and several building societies.

Over time Scotia will bring more products to the US; beyond ATM Security the company has developed: -

- Deposit Systems
- Secure Storage
- Electronic Security Systems

Scotia works closely with all the leading ATM manufacturers to ensure compliance and optimal deployment time for its products.

ATM Cassette Guard can be installed very quickly and easily; it uses existing fixing points so downtime is minimal and servicing can be carried out as normal.

Grant Calder, managing director at Scotia, said: "In the 40 years since Scotia was formed we have gained unrivalled expertise in ATM security, from which we have developed a strong product set that is constantly evolving as the threat landscape changes. With this announcement of our intention to enter the US market we want to highlight the benefits of our products to ATM deployersdeployers and find trusted associates who can add value to our products, as well as deliver a standard of service and support that matches what we can provide here in the UK."

He added: "We have seen a surge in demand in recent years as ATMs have increasingly been deployed in less secure environments and the nature of the threat has evolved."

Scotia is a member of the ATMIA (ATM Industry Association) and EAST (European ATM Security Team) and, working in conjunction with law enforcement agencies, is at the forefront of crime analysis and prevention.
