“For anyone who says banks can’t innovate, they should attend a Citi Mobile Challenge Demo Day event,” said Bill Parsons, Chief Customer Officer at Yodlee. “The energy, ideas, and passion coming from these Citi events is amazing. And it’s not all talk. The ideas are already being implemented in live customer experiences across Citi channels. We are honored to participate and to receive this award from the Citi Mobile Challenge because it demonstrates the value and scale of our Yodlee Platform, API’s and mobile capabilities not only for the bank but for the millions of consumers and small businesses who interact with Citi around the globe every day.”

The Yodlee platform powers a wide variety of digital financial innovations used by millions of consumers and small business across more than 750 companies in over 10 countries. The Citi Mobile Challenge is a global initiative whose goal is to find the best developers that are reimagining the financial technology industry.

Leveraging a mashup of Citi, Yodlee and third party APIs, the award-winning Yodlee application for the Citi Mobile Challenge Latam invoked aggregation and voice technology to create an integrated user experience across multi-national geographies, accounts, and currencies to facilitate better money management, money movement, and more personalized Citi interactions with consumers and small businesses with global needs.

“We are excited to present this award to Yodlee for the innovative financial management tool they presented at our inaugural Citi Mobile Challenge Latin America earlier this year,” said Jorge Ruiz, Digital Acceleration Global Program Head.
