Traxpay is focused on delivering a real-time solution for sending and receiving B2B payments across supplier and/or customer networks. As Traxpay begins broader deployment of its solution and expands into the United States, Stolz will play a critical role leading the company's global product development team, which is headquartered in Cologne.

"Eckehard is one of a handful of enterprise banking software experts in the world that can architect a commercial system to enable real-time B2B payments," said John Bruggeman, CEO, Traxpay. "With initial customers in Europe already reaping the rewards of this solution, we're thrilled to have him join our team and bring his expertise with large scale payments systems and SAP to Traxpay."

Traxpay has been working closely on its product development with Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company that has extensive experience developing many of the world's largest, proprietary online banking systems. As a partner in the Accenture Software Banking group, Stolz has played a key role in architecting the Traxpay solution over the past 18 months and will now continue this leadership and development as the Traxpay CTO.

"Over the past decade I've had the opportunity to work on many proprietary banking systems and work with the leading enterprise software companies," said Stolz. "With the Traxpay model of real-time payments, I realized that we were on the brink of changing the way B2B transactions can—and will—be handled moving forward. I'm excited to work with the Traxpay team as we expand our solution throughout Europe and into the United States."

The Traxpay real-time payment solution has been selectively installed with initial customers across Europe, which historically has led the adoption of digital financial solutions. Expansion of the solution to the United States is planned for Q3, according to the company.

Stolz to Leverage SAP/Siebel Expertise
Stolz joined Accenture in 1994 and was named partner in 2005. While there, he was involved in the development of several banking payment systems, including the Payment Engine for SAP, a payment operations platform that can connect to multiple internal and external payment channels. He has a strong software architecture background with experience in strategic enterprise architecture, Internet technologies, packaged software (Siebel, SAP) eCommerce / B2B fulfilment and customer relationship management (CRM).

Eckehard holds a master's degree in computer science (Diplom-Informatiker) from Technical University Munich. He is also an Accenture certified solution architect (SAP, Java), delivery lead and QA director.
