Ingenico appoints Alison Greensmith as sales director, Northern Europe

Ingenico, the world's leading provider of payment solutions, has appointed Alison Greensmith as Sales Director, Northern Europe.

Alison joins from Digital River World Payments and brings more than 20 years of sales experience to the role, including spells with NatWest, Mastercard and The Logic Group.

Before joining Ingenico, Alison was Sales and Marketing Director, EU for Digital River World Payments, She also held a non-executive director position with IT infrastructures and communications services provider, TFM Networks.

Prior to this she spent seven years leading the Sector Sales team at The Logic Group. After starting her career in Human Resources at NatWest, she joined Mondex International, part of the MasterCard group, to bring an E-cash product to market.

Based at Northern Europe's London office in Covent Gardens, Alison will lead the sales team to drive product and service growth across the region, including identifying untapped sales opportunities and new markets.

Alison added: "I'm delighted to be working with the world's leading payment solutions provider. Technology is moving at a rapid pace within the payment industry and Ingenico is at the forefront of developing solutions that embrace new advances. I'll be using my experience within the payment industry to help grow Ingenico's customer portfolio within the UK and Northern Europe and deliver the company's ambitious growth plans."
