Turquoise Millennium releases technical specs

London Stock Exchange has completed acquisition of Turquoise paving the way for the creation of a new pan-European trading venture through a merger of the Turquoise and Baikal businesses.

The new venture, continuing to operate as Turquoise, aims to drive European trading volume growth and promote venue choice. Turquoise benefits from synergies with London Stock Exchange infrastructure via a planned migration to MillenniumIT trading technology scheduled for launch during autumn 2010.



To assist participants with migration to the MillenniumIT platform at Turquoise, a test platform is scheduled for launch during May 2010. First releases of the protocol technical specifications are now available for review:
