ACER publishes material on REMIT reporting

The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators  (ACER) has published the materials from its workshop on the regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT) implementation.

This includes:

  • a status update on REMIT implementation which sets out the likely timetable for data reporting to commence as Q4 2014.  This also includes details of how the ACER REMIT Information System (ARIS) will operate;
  • requirements and technical specifications for the submission of data under REMIT which sets out the registration procedures for reporting entities and the criteria for submission of data;
  • a Status update on registration of market participants and how the registration system (CEREMP) will operate; and
  • the Trade Reporting User Manual presentation – including an overview of the public consultation with a timetable for proposed roundtable meetings with market participants between April & June.  An additional public workshop on this topic will be held in June 2014.
