Liquidnet has appointed Richard Gray as Head of European Trading Desk. Richard, who joins from Pipeline, brings with him a great wealth of client service experience gained from his previous role as European Head of Sales & Client Services, in addition to management positions at Schroder Investment Management, Millgate Capital and Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking.
Richard joins the growing team at Liquidnet from Pipeline Financial. As Head of Trading he will be responsible for over-seeing Liquidnet's team of traders based in London, focusing on business development, continued growth of trading volumes, and expansion of the Trading Desk's coverage to include Asia. He will report to John Barker, Head of International at Liquidnet.
Building on the depth of his experience in trading and the institutional investment market, Richard served as a member of numerous industry bodies, such as the IMA trader panel, the LSE Institutional Investor Panel, Euronext London Institutional Paneland Deutsche Borse London Advisory Panel.
