Eventus appoints Jonathan Dixon as director of regulatory affairs for Emea

Eventus, a global provider of multi-asset class trade surveillance and market risk solutions, has appointed Jonathan Dixon as Director of Regulatory Affairs, EMEA & MENA, where he will work closely with clients and industry bodies to champion regulatory effectiveness to protect them from market malfeasance.

Dixon brings more than 18 years of experience in financial services firms and more than nine years of experience in trade surveillance to Eventus. Prior to joining the firm, Dixon served as Kraken’s Head of Trade Surveillance where he managed a surveillance team of 13, covering both the Crypto Spot platform and Futures FCA-regulated multilateral trading facility (MTF).

Throughout his career, Dixon has helped to ensure best-in-class trade surveillance implementation for compliance and monitoring solutions across both traditional finance and digital assets.

Dixon is based in London and will report to Joe Schifano, Global Head of Regulatory Affairs at Eventus.
