Bondstream will provide a white label capability for all the products Xion brings to market, including those using other distribution networks.
Bondstream will initially be implemented, in a market first, to focus on the private placement market. This builds on the already established capital markets side of the business which makes Bondstream the market leader in Europe. Bondstream will continue to develop off a single code base and provide the support for Xion as its business expands into DTC settlement and wider access to the HNWI market.
William Singer, partner and leader of Xion said: “There is no other system in the market which combines the important transactional aspects of a CRM system with the detailed transaction level cashflows which allows for a complete reconciliation of positions irrespective of the stakeholders. The full lifecyle servicing of Bondstream saves time and money but most importantly offers transparency and confidence.”
Mr Singer added: “Bondstream will help us capture new markets and Xion will benefit greatly from using this technology to support our deep personal connections in the market. Business is still about people but with the support of up to date information, trusted relationships are easier to manage.”
Mr Singer is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years’ experience in financial markets and alternative assets. An entrepreneur himself, Mr Singer selected Bondstream because of the need to provide one ‘source of truth’ for working with both origination and syndication clients. Transparency and availability are important in the fragmented US market where relationships with investors and issuers are fiercely competitive.
Bondstream has established itself as the platform of choice for companies who need to reconcile and control the three most important aspects of capital markets funding: cash flow of incoming funds, effective coordination with investor relations teams and helping to manage placement activities. Bondstream has handled thousands of transactions in Europe for more than 20 public companies with 99.99% availability and a transparency which is disruptive in the fintech market.
