The more than 31,000-member credit union received its community charter just one year ago and, pursuing additional growth opportunities, decided to refocus its online brand initiatives. Call FCU recognized the need to position its website as both an informational and functional tool, delivering frequently updated content and providing visitors a consistent call to action. The credit union selected T8 Webware for its understanding of how to market financial services offerings as well as its awareness of industry compliance standards. T8 Webware offered Call FCU a custom, non-template driven website that enables it to easily push out new content while also electronically documenting each change.

"We envisioned our website as a one-stop shop, more of a personal finance manager for our members," said Amalia Melis, [title] of Call Federal Credit Union. "With the available tools and overall strategic direction T8 Webware provided through this partnership, we feel more comfortably equipped to reach potential members as well as interact with our current base."

T8 Webware supported Call FCU with design aspects as well as best practices on how to present the most effective Web presence, added Melis. T8 Webware's content management system, FREEDOM8, allows Call FCU to update its website by any authorized user, from any location at any time, while enforcing FFIEC and FDIC functional compliance. FREEDOM8 helps restructure the Web experience by providing a user interface reflective of a word processor format, making for a virtually nonexistent learning curve and empowering Call FCU with flexibility in its site management. This functionality eliminates the burden of consistently refreshing content while improving website dynamics to further position promotion and cross-sell opportunities.

"Credit unions remain true to their member-oriented approach and many find that their website is the first place to ensure that commitment is communicated," said Wade Arnold, CEO of T8 Webware. "Call FCU has found a true balance in its site being informative and interactive, which is evidenced by the response it has had in generating new visitors."
