Conotoxia debuts multi-currency card payments in Google Pay, Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay

Source: Conotoxia

Holders of Conotoxia multi-currency cards can make contactless payments with their phone and smartwatch, use online payments and withdraw cash from ATMs using Google Pay.

Moreover, they have the option to conduct contactless payments with their wearable device and withdraw money from ATMs with Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay.

Enabling Google Pay for Conotoxia multi-currency cardholders allows them to perform contactless payments with their phone and watch in stationary stores, pay for purchases online and in mobile apps, as well as withdraw cash from ATMs. The only requirement is to have the Google Pay app, available in the Google Play store, and to connect the card to it - this applies to both physical and virtual card versions. Payment information is encrypted and stored on secure servers.

Adding multi-currency cards to Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay, on the other hand, means that when using a compatible smartwatch or tracker, users can withdraw cash from ATM as well as make quick and secure payments anywhere contactless payments are accepted, without pulling out a wallet or phone - something consumers are doing more of to avoid contacting commonly touched surfaces in public. Users can follow a few simple steps to add their Conotoxia card to the Fitbit app or Garmin Connect on their phone (available on both Android and iOS). Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay use a tokenization platform to protect the card information which is never shared with merchants, Fitbit or Garmin.

"We always aim to be as comprehensive as possible. People are opting more and more for modern forms of payment. They do not always have their wallet or payment card with them, and they want to be able to do their shopping quickly and conveniently, but also safely. This is the future of financial services, and we are evolving together with our customers and their expectations," says Piotr Kicinski, Vice-President of Cinkciarz.pl, a company belonging to Conotoxia holding.

Conotoxia provides multi-currency cards in virtual and physical form (with the option of delivery by post and courier). An application for the issuance of the cards is submitted online. Their holders gain access to free accounts in EUR and 19 other currencies, thanks to which they avoid high costs of currency exchange and can pay in over 160 currencies. Fintech also offers a dedicated mobile app for Android and iOS to manage the cards.
