Wincor Nixdorf adds John Tyler, Bill Raymond to US team; introduces iBistro

Wincor Nixdorf, one of the global leaders in open ATM hardware and multi-vendor software solutions that improve branch efficiencies, today announced the selection of John Tyler as Vice President of Banking, Wincor Nixdorf USA, overseeing all aspects of the company's banking solutions business in the U.S.

Wincor Nixdorf also announced that Bill Raymond has joined the U.S. sales team and will manage relationships at some of the largest organizations in the U.S.

The appointment of John Tyler and Bill Raymond is positive validation of the continued growth and momentum that Wincor Nixdorf is experiencing in the U.S. banking market.

Tyler has more than 20 years of professional experience in providing technical solutions to the banking industry. He has held several executive roles at Diebold Inc. including Vice President of North American Sales Operations and Vice President of Global Software and Services. Most recently, Tyler was Executive Vice President of Global Payment Technology Group with Carreker Corp.

Raymond has more than 20 years of executive technology management and financial services marketing experience in the electronic funds transfer (EFT) and retail banking industries. He previously served as president at Genpass ATM Solutions. Raymond held several executive roles at Bank of America including Senior Vice President of Interstate Banking Integration, and Senior Vice President of ATM Banking and Retail Distribution, and has served on many boards within the Industry.

Seperately, Wincor Nixdorf today announced the availability of its iBISTRO QSR point-of-sale (POS) and back-office software solution for the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry.

Highly efficient and easy-to-use, iBISTRO features a modular design and open architecture that adapts to future requirements, allowing QSR operators to maximize and protect their POS investments. iBISTRO offers customizable menu screens, supports multiple drive-thru configurations, and includes suggestive sale prompting and powerful promotions management capabilities - all designed to improve customer service and increase sales.

iBISTRO QSR can be configured for all sizes and types of operations, from small chains to regional or nationwide chains. The software consists of five modules -- POS Client, Manager's Workstation, Store Controller, Enterprise Controller, and Menu Manager. Features include:

  • Flexible screen configurations with multiple button colors and sizes, and drop-down ingredient lists that allow employees to easily modify orders.
