Nyse Technologies launches consolidated feed for Level 1 market data

NYSE Technologies, the commercial technology division of NYSE Euronext, today announced the launch of NYSE BQT (Best Quote & Trades), a consolidated XDP feed that provides a real-time, unified view of Level 1 market data, including Best Bid/Offer and Last Sale information for the NYSE, NYSE Arca, and NYSE MKT exchanges including NASDAQ issues traded on NYSE Arca and NYSE MKT.

NYSE BQT is a more flexible and affordable alternative to the range of expensive Level 1 market data offerings currently available.

The raw data feed, which is delivered via the NYSE Technologies Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure® (SFTI) network ensures direct access to key quote and trade data for NYSE Euronext's U.S. markets. The feed can be distributed to a diverse number of investor applications such as retail blotter interfaces, charting and research tools, symbol watch lists, and portfolio management software. NYSE BQT is designed to help customers reduce their market data overhead without compromising the quality, reliability, and delivery of the data they offer to their end users.

Key Features of NYSE BQT:

Real-time best bid and offer quotations, for all NYSE, NYSE Arca and NYSE MKT-traded securities, including size, available from all of NYSE markets.
NYSE Prices: The official NYSE opening and closing prices for all listed instruments, including quote and trading status messages, as well as Retail Interest Indication.
Value-Added Details: The stock summary message (including Open, High, Low and Close) is sent every minute on a separate channel from the main feed. The message will be sent out every minute regardless of whether there is a change to a particular value or not. In the event there is no volume on the stock, the trade summary message will not be disseminated.
