Wincor Nixdorf reports Banco del Estado de Chile ATM order

The Banco del Estado de Chile has ordered 186 ATMs from Wincor Nixdorf's partner IBM, which markets Wincor Nixdorf’s banking solutions in North and South America.

The bank will see an increase in its installed base to 665 units after the installation of the new equipment. Including the latest installation at the Banco del Estado de Chile, a country-wide installed base of almost 1300 Wincor Nixdorf systems has been achieved.

The order, which is to be installed by the end of September 2006, is comprised of 90 multifunction ProCash 2100 ATMs equipped with a passbook printer and an envelope deposit module for checks and cash, and 90 multifunction ProCash 1500 cash dispensers.

The Banco del Estado de Chile operates 306 branches, 107 "Access Points" and approximately 1100 ATMs. As the third largest Chilean bank, the Banco del Estado de Chile employs over 3000 workers. 60% of all ATMs installed at the bank are Wincor Nixdorf systems. The Company has had a representative office in Chile for the past two years.
