Fortis Bank in the Netherlands has licensed Diebold's multi-vendor ATM development software, Agilis Power.
Diebold says Fortis Bank will use Agilis Power to make its ATM application suitable for installation and exploitation on multiple vendor hardware.
As a result of the integration, the bank's ATMs will also feature Triple-DES, bulk cash deposit and envelope deposit functions.
Agilis Power is an open system that allows different terminals and respective technologies to co-exist. The software allows firms to implement customised applications that run across a multi-vendor ATM network, providing a consistent user experience at every cash machine.
Denis Gaultier, services vice president of Diebold Emea, says: "Agilis Power provides financial institutions with maximum control of their self-service assets, combined with the ability to use ATMs as a customer relationship management channel and create other revenue opportunities."
