Bank-backed digital authentication company Identrus has joined the Liberty Alliance network identity consortium as a sponsor member.
Identrus says it intends to assist in the development of global standards for identity authentication as part of the 165-member consortium's effort to create an open standard for single sign-on across multiple networks.
Karen Wendel, CEO of Identrus, says: "We are now actively participating in the Liberty Alliance Project to align our policy and legal infrastructure with the latest technological specifications developed by the Liberty Alliance."
