Fortis Prime Fund Solutions has gone live with front and middle office products from DST International's (DSTi) HiInvest suite at its London operations.
Formed from the merger of Netherlands-based Fortis Bank's prime banking and global custody businesses, Fortis Prime Fund Solutions provides administrative, and financial services for hedge funds and funds-of-funds.
The firm has implemented a range of applications from the HiInvest suite, including HiCompliance, HiOrders and ReportingDataMart. Fortis will also use HiDataWarehouse to run its front, middle and back office systems.
Users at Fortis' London office are linked through to DSTi's back office system iPortfolio/2, which is installed at the firm's Dublin office.
Joost Löbler, Fortis Prime Fund Solutions' global director of sales, says the products replace an internal legacy system, which was not based in the London office.
"Since they have been installed, we have experienced improved client reporting including Web-based reporting and better client servicing generally," adds Löbler.
DSTi says the product installation was able to accommodate increased business volumes at Fortis Prime Fund Solutions without any increase in staff.
Seperately, the vendor is reporting a user license extension for its HiPortfolio/2 installation at AXA Investment Managers.
