Former Diebold technician charged with stealing $200,000 from BofA ATMs

A former Diebold technician has been charged with stealing $200,000 from seven Bank of America ATMs and replacing the cash with counterfeit notes.

San Francisco man Samuel Kioskli, was accused of using his Diebold work cardkey to loot cash from six Bank of America ATMs in San Francisco and one in Daly City.

He was caught on surveillance tapes removing the cash from the ATM cassettes and replacing the notes with photocopied $20 bills or blank strips of paper.

Kioskli has entered a not guilty plea and is being held on remand at San Mateo county jail. Police have yet to recover any of the stolen funds.
