Advent Software, a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry, announced today that it has added Scotiatrust, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scotiabank, to its Advent Custodial Data (ACD) network.

Scotiatrust is a leading Canadian provider of personal trust services and personal and institutional custodial services, offering a complete range of estate, trust and agency services to individuals, family offices, charitable organizations and institutional investors.

"We are very pleased to welcome Scotiatrust to the ACD network. Advent has served the Canadian market for over 20 years and we are proud to add this industry leader to our network. Thousands of firms rely on us to drive operational ease through fully automated data and I know our many common clients will be excited to reap the benefits of this connectivity," said George McLaughlin, Senior Director of Data Services at Advent.

"Scotiatrust delivers client-focused solutions through highly personalized relationships, and innovative technology goes hand in hand with that philosophy," said David MacBeth, National Director of Scotiatrust Custody Services. "Working with the Advent network brings us closer to our clients and their investment advisors, enabling everyone to focus on financial planning priorities. We look forward to continuing to deliver high quality services that meet the growing and diversified needs of our trust and custody clients."

Used by over 2,700 firms to reconcile and report on over 2.5 million investment accounts, ACD is an extensive, reliable, and functionally robust custodial data aggregation service. ACD delivers comprehensive data sourced directly from custody systems of record and is delivered through secure data feeds developed in partnership with each custodian. Instead of managing multiple connections, file formats, and processing workflows, clients can retrieve their standardized files from all of their custodians from one single source.
