Callataÿ & Wouters, a leading provider of core banking and multi-channel distribution solutions, is proud to announce the successful implementation of Thaler for Argenta Netherlands.

This occasion marks a significant consolidation of Callataÿ & Wouters in the Dutch market for financial IT services.

Argenta is a retail bank that operates in the Benelux countries. Its main offices in Belgium have been faithful Callataÿ & Wouters customers since 1997. Early 2011, Argenta's Dutch branch migrated to Callataÿ & Wouters' Thaler platform as well, which included back office operations and internet banking. The team worked to meet an aggressive deadline and implemented Thaler in half a year, rounding up the project in June 2011.

"It is the first time in my long career that I have seen a large-scale project, including massive data migration, going in production so quickly and so smoothly," says Dirk van Dessel, CIO of Argenta, "A new benchmark has been set for upcoming projects." With Thaler, Argenta's Dutch branch wants to expand its offering with new savings products more efficiently and flexibly.

"The successful and speedy implementation of Thaler for Argenta's Dutch branch is a milestone by itself," comments Marc De Groote, CEO of Callataÿ & Wouters, "It strengthens our strategic relationship with the Argenta Group, and it also signifies our consolidation in the Dutch market, after several other Dutch projects for customers such as ASR Bank, NWB and ABN Amro."
