Fortis Bank Netherlands taps Collis for Sepa support

Source: Collis

Collis is pleased to announce that we are supporting Fortis Bank Netherlands with process management and training programme development for Sepa Direct Debit and Payment Services Directive.

SEPA implementation is fast gaining momentum. With SEPA in place, making and receiving payments in EURO across Europe will soon become part of everyday financial transactions.

Collis is supporting Fortis Bank in the Netherlands as part of the process management team focusing on SEPA Direct Debit and the Payment Services Directive (PSD). Both these arenas within SEPA require extensive knowledge about the payment sector in general, and banks in particular. Collis is writing and optimising system flows and organizational work flows. Collis is also developing training programmes for SEPA Direct Debit and is delivering this training to Fortis Bank Netherlands employees. Additionally, Collis is also writing PSD training programmes.

Peter Reidsma, Head of Project & Process Management Fortis Bank Netherlands, comments: "We are very happy with the support we are receiving from Collis for our SEPA Direct Debit and Payment Services Directive activities. Collis' extensive knowledge helps bridge the gap and enables us to achieve our goals. Targeted and comprehensive training programmes from Collis further strengthen the SEPA knowledge we need to migrate to SEPA."

Maurik Hellebrekers, Director Services Division Collis, comments: "Collis is very pleased to be actively assisting Fortis Bank Netherlands to migrate to SEPA. SEPA implementation raises many challenges for banks ranging from front and back office implications to meeting mandates. Using our extensive experience with technology migration projects and in-depth knowledge of underlying technologies, we aim to make SEPA a success for Fortis Bank Netherlands."
