Real time payment is a great approach however this will create significant challenges for American Financial Institutions. American Financial Institutions are going to have decide if they want to execute this real time philosophy and discuss with their service providers to get this ready. One of the problems in going to this Real Time approach is that both the service providers and the financial institutions will have to change their infrastructure and be more responsive to the customers. The customers supposedly want and expect this Real Time approach. major changes will be coming and banks don't handle major changes very weel.
