The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is hosting an open day for IT professionals as it prepares to embark on a hiring spree that will see it add 200 technology jobs over the next three years.
The bank, which already employees around 400 IT staffers, is inviting techies to pre-register by 22 January for the event, which will be on 29 January.
The Fed admits that "you might not think you'd find a robust climate of innovation and heavy use of advanced technology at the nation's central bank," but insists that IT at the bank is thriving.
The open day will give potential candidates the chance to learn about roles involving data architecture, software engineering, help desk support, user experience, business analysis, big data, and project management.
