Smith will focus on Proxama’s continued expansion of their digital payment offering into the UK and Europe. Targeted at card issuers and banks, the Digital Enablement Platform™ (DEP) is a set of compelling solutions to simplify and enable control of cloud-based mobile payments using Host Card Emulation (HCE) and Tokenisation technologies.
With over twenty years’ experience in international sales and operational management in the software/payments industry, Smith has sound experience within the evolving digital payments space. His career includes senior positions at HP/VeriFone, Visa International, ERGN Group and Innova Group. Prior to joining Proxama, Merton was Country Manager for the UK and Irish operations at Innova Group, with full sales, business development and operational management responsibilities.
