This certification was achieved with the collaboration of Nepting, the innovative payment platform provider, utilising Spire Payments’ highly secure mPOS device: the SPm20. This pocket sized, chip & PIN SRED-compliant secure mobile payment device with contactless and NFC capabilities meets the complex security requirements expected of a leading mobile payment acceptance solution. The SPm20 has been integrated with Nepting’s payment platform which also supports Spire Payments’ PosMate Smart, the first mPOS device to be certified by GIE CB. The Nepting platform supports not only secure mPOS devices interfacing with tablets and smart phones, but also traditional POS terminals and e-Commerce channels in order to provide a highly secure PCI DSS-compliant omnichannel payment platform. Spire Payments’ strategic alliance with Nepting targets merchants’ and consumers’ growing need for a wide variety of payment devices able to address a highly networked omnichannel payment market characterized by increasingly sophisticated mobile devices.
