TrustPay is an acquirer itself, based in Slovakia, and is a licensed payment institution providing secure card payments and instant bank transfers via its membership of Swift and of Visa and Mastercard. It’s accredited to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS), Level 1. 

As part of the Payment Service Provider (PSP) agreement, ONPEX will provide payment gateway services to TrustPay merchants, spreading its geographical reach. In return, ONPEX customers will receive access to TrustPay’s specialist online payment solutions.

The deal has already generated a pipeline of merchants wishing to make use of the partnerships benefits with the first merchants due to go live imminently, say the partners.
