Our client is one of the Global leaders in Enterprise Financial Services Technology with tier one clients across the globe and a name recognised worldwide

An exciting opportunity has come up within their Investment Management division for a Senior Sales Executive to focus on a few, specialist solutions for the buy side community in UK, Ireland & Northern Europe

The role will be a combination of winning new clients as well as business development within existing accounts
 
Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales management to develop and execute account plans for target market sectors
  • Identify and undertake specific initiatives to win new business at each account
  • Identify, contact and qualify new prospects within the territory
  • Cold calling and following up marketing leads
  • Develop and execute responses to queries from prospects and clients which may take the form of informal requests or  more formal RFI/RFP documents
  • Co-ordinate one-to-one client meetings with issuers/bankers, aggregator and hedge fund clients
  • Undertaking demonstrations and/or presentations of selected product offerings
  • Negotiating and closing new business contracts.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of Financial Markets, Asset Management and Risk Management markets
  • Proven sales experience into the Buy side market - Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds and so forth
  • Prior business to business sales, client relationship management
  • Proven track record of closing business in strategic accounts and achieving assigned sales quota
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to persuade and influence
  • Capacity to develop and deliver presentations, ability to create, compose and edit written materials
  • Experience in interacting at senior level with various business partners across the organization.
